CAMPUS ACTIVITIES
There are many different sports and activities for students to participate in here at Idris Academy. Students are free to participate in as many or as few activities and clubs as they would like, as long as they do not interfere with the student's work. There are also winter, spring, and summer breaks for students. The dorms remain open all year round, however, for students who do not wish to go home.

School Calendar
The calendar of the school year is located here. Feel free to download or disregard. Remember that the school follows real-time, so all of these events are going to happen on the actual, OOC date that is indicated!

There is also a clubs and activities calendar located here! A special note that Dragon Racing and Swordplay clubs, while held three times a week, only require students to attend one session a week (for Dragon Racing, meetings are only for 5th years; 6th and 7th years can go ride whenever they want to.) Blitzball is not on the calendar as it would be too crowded if it were, but here is the schedule for that:

Clubs & Activities
Student Government
Meets every 4th Tuesday. This is a student-ran court system for serious offenses. There are two (2) senators from each house elected each year. Senators can be from any year. Head boy & girl must be 7th years, and Prefects (1 per house) can be 6th or 7th years.

Meets once a month on a Saturday; publications come out the next Sunday. There is one editor per category, but plenty of staff writers and photographers!

Photography

Swordplay
Meetings are held every week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays but members are only required to attend one meeting per week. Much like modern day fencing, swordplay is an extracurricular activity where students have weekly meetings to spar against each other and hone their skills.

Dragon Racing
Meetings are held for 5th year students every week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays but members are only required to attend one meeting per week. 6th and 7th years are free to ride whenever they wish. Actual dragon racing is for 6th and 7th years only, but 5th years can sign up to take special classes at night.
