HOUSE POINTS
Idris has an interesting competitive points system. Each year, the four houses each start off with zero (0) points. As the year progresses, points will be added due to good behavior, scene lottery participating (10 points per completion) and Blitzball wins (# of points scored per team times 3, with an extra + 20 for the winning team), and points will be subtracted due to bad behavior and rule breaking. At the end of the year, the points will be added up and the house with the most points wins the House Cup.
Players can gain points for their IC characters by answering the mini quizzes that we will put up monthly. Those playing the Head Boy, Head Girl, and Prefects can occasionally also give or take points from those in IC threads who are on excellent or horrible behavior. (Use your own discretion.) If you are either a prefect or the Head Boy & Head Girl and have given or taken away house points, please leave a comment here with the amount that was taken, the date and a link to the event which prompted the giving/taking of the house points. Remember that if you are taking points away then you must tell the student for what and how much they are losing. They may also find it nice to know if they've earned points for their house too. Be fair and don't abuse your power. After all, the professors are watching and it would be tremendously embarrassing to be stripped of your prefect title. Also, so that everyone is aware, comments are not screened. And they will be deleted after they are accounted for.
