If you do not receive a reply in a week, that means we either did not get your application or dropped off the face of the planet. All students at Idris live on-campus. There is one large building for all students to live in. There are four different halls, one for each house, that are connected by long corridors. The building is 7 stories tall and housing is separated by years. 1st years live at the very bottom floor, and 7th years at the very top. Each room has two students.

There are many different sports and activities for students to participate in here at Idris Academy. Students are free to participate in as many or as few activities and clubs as they would like, as long as they do not interfere with the student's work. There are also winter, spring, and summer breaks for students. The dorms remain open all year round, however, for students who do not wish to go home.

Everyone who attends Idris Academy has something magical and special about them. In general, there are five different magical groups.

Idris has an interesting competitive points system. Each year, the four houses each start off with zero (0) points. As the year progresses, points will be added due to good behavior, scene lottery participating (10 points per completion) and Blitzball wins (# of points scored per team times 3, with an extra + 20 for the winning team), and points will be subtracted due to bad behavior and rule breaking. At the end of the year, the points will be added up and the house with the most points wins the House Cup.

Idris Academy is a large school that is set in the middle of the fictional town of Idris. When first-year students arrive, they must walk one-by-one through a large doorway and long corridor. At the end of that corridor, they will be lead into one of four houses which they will be staying for the entire seven years they spend at Idris.

The small, fictional town of Idris is a magical town located in is located in Northeast Greenland, near the coastal area, protected by wards and kept from prying mundie eyes. To Mundie eyes, the whole area appears to be a barren plot of land perpetually covered in ice. The area surrounding Idris is treacherous for mundies who try to approach and prone to avalanches. The school campus is located in the far west side of Idris, in a magical dome and has four very distinct seasons. Parts of the town of Idris closer to the school are also included in the dome, but further into town, the dome's magic wears off.
